Package: sd Version: 0.74-1 Severity: important This bug is similar to this one for the package mosh: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=697663
Debian should swap the #!/usr/bin/env perl hashbang to #!/usr/bin/perl Otherwise, it finds the perlbrew-installed perl on my system, but the perl modules the package requires were intalled to the system perl. So sd fails to even start up. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (1200, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages sd depends on: ii libdatetime-format-natural-perl 1.01-1 ii libdatetime-perl 2:0.7800-1 ii libhtml-tree-perl 5.02-1 ii libprophet-perl 0.750-1 ii libtime-progress-perl 1.7-1 ii liburi-perl 1.60-1 ii perl 5.14.2-18 sd recommends no packages.
