I think there's insufficient data for that. At least some people seem to actually be successfully running even the 3D driver on NV4E: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=810490#c11 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46557#c30 Other known problems on NV4E are disappearing mouse cursor (#635228, I don't know if disabling acceleration even helps) and screen distortion on machines with more than 2G RAM and a 64-bit kernel (#608133), can be worked around with mem=2G. AFAIK there are also no other distributions who have ever disabled acceleration on NV4E by default. I'm not sure we should set a precedent here.
