There is a solution for bug 699341. I have attached a patch to http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=682682
which deals with the same problem. Xarchiver is merely a frontend for unzip which is able to extract zip files with non-ascii characters but does not display them correctly with unzip -l. That means xarchiver -e is also working but listing files in xarchiver cannot work because the underlying software, unzip, was not compiled with the corresponding feature to list file names with non-ascii characters. I think this bug report can be closed as soon as bug #682682 has been fixed. Another solution would be to use 7zip instead of unzip to display the content of zip archives. At the moment i prefer the fix for #682682.
