Since my upgrade to x.org a few weeks ago, the behavior of my
synaptics touchpad has changed. I have mapped three finger tap to the
right mouse button, and that does not work any more. The three finger
tap is simply ignored.
Scrolling by sliding the finger along the right or bottom side of the
pad works, though.
Also, the tray icon only appears once the ksynaptics panel in control
center has been invoked once.
I am at a loss to decide whether this is a ksynaptics issue (not
passing down configuration to the driver) or a driver issue (ignoring
the configuration from ksynaptics or not correctly driving my pad).
