I can reproduce this on a 20-computer lab as well, using xfce4 here. However, I'm somewhat surprised by the fact that this bug was open in November. Is it really possible that we are shipping a gnome-terminal having so insane defaults? Or maybe there a missing dependency somewhere? Perhaps a recommends that should instead be a Depends? What's the reason why this bug is just "normal", and why there seem to be so few people having it?
