Actually my personal plans are that managed=true mode goes away completely.
The ifupdown plugin would be vastly simplified. All it would do is look
in /etc/network/interfaces which devices are configured there, and mark
those as unmanaged in NM.

I've come to the conclusion that trying to parse the /e/n/i
configuration and generating connections from that is more confusing and
brittle in actual use.
