control: severity 698294 serious I'm bumping this to serious, as this really is a show-stopper bug for us; if this is not fixed we will be forced to carry a local build with the patch.
Justification for serious is that in many cases the wrong behaviour causes the wrong data to be pushed to the client silently, or the file failing to be updated altogether (again, silently).
