Because your ITP/RFP was about running it through wine. That aside, it makes a lot of sense to close this bugreport through the upload of the native client (as you did) so people tracking this bugreport are directly available of that. It's though still a different ITP/RFP which wasn't updated with the information. The mere question of "Why not?" doesn't add that information though, it leaves the confusion around.
