I just got approval from the SRM to get this dependency issue fixed via
stable-proposed-updates: http://bugs.debian.org/700393
I uploaded a NMU with the attached patch to DELAYED/2, so that this can
be included in the next point release (which is scheduled for Feb.
23rd).
Please let me know if you have any objections and I'll cancel the NMU.
And of course you are welcome to do a maintainer upload yourself.
