Package: gedit-latex-plugin Version: 3.4.1-1 Severity: important Hi,
loading the LaTeX plugin in gedit gave me: ERROR :Environment : /etc/texmf/texmf.cnf not found, using default search paths ['/usr/share/texmf-texlive', '/home/norbert/texmf'] (l.236) This setup is for TeX Live 2009 which is not in testing. It would make sense to * either use the uptodate paths /usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist /usr/share/texlive/texmf * or use kpsewhich to determine the location (the best idea!) kpsewhich -var-value TEXMFMAIN kpsewhich -var-value TEXMFDIST kpsewhich -var-value TEXMFHOME Thanks Norbert -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.8.0-rc6+ (SMP w/4 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gedit-latex-plugin depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.12.1-3 ii gedit 3.4.2-1 ii gvfs-bin 1.12.3-4 ii python 2.7.3-4 ii python-dbus 1.1.1-1 ii python-glade2 2.24.0-3+b1 ii python-poppler 0.12.1-8+b1 ii rubber 1.1+20100306-2 Versions of packages gedit-latex-plugin recommends: ii python-enchant 1.6.5-2 ii texlive 2012.20130111-1 gedit-latex-plugin suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
