On my Debian stable system I get : nr@homedog 10073 ; sudo texconfig pdftex paper Usage: texconfig pdftex paper PAPER Valid PAPER settings: Same as for dvips, use texconfig dvips paper-list to get a list of valid PAPER values. texconfig pdftex paperconf texconfig pdftex mode MODE > When trying to configure is using texconfig-dialog you'll get a > warning, that you should use paperconf instead. And I get : nr@homedog 10068 ; sudo paperconfig -p letter : nr@homedog 10069 ; Perhaps because /etc/papersize was already set to 'letter'? In any case, these changes do not affect the pdftex on my system. Perhaps I should install the texlive package from wheezy, but right now I am not deadline and cannot do that. > Does this convince you? Sure, I'm convinced.
