Thank you for a patch! My intention is to play a bit with the problem
you identified. I red some information about cross-building, but must to
say I'm still not able to setup the right environment for building the
package. Please can you give me some link or info how to do cross build
of some package in sane way?

I have added
deb http://www.emdebian.org/debian sid main
into my sources.list.
Installed emdebian-toolchain-armel. I have installed
gcc-4.7-arm-linux-gnueabi (also tried 4.6...), but symlinks
arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc and others was not created.

pdebuild-cross stops at:
make[1]: arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc: Command not found

Please, How to setup the symlink the right way?

Maybe I'm going in completely wrong way?
