Yes, I just checked thusly: 1. open liferea 2. mark an item as unread 3. go to the unread folder 4. click on that item, it is marked as read 5. click on "New subscription", type "http://foo" 6. liferea navigates away from that item, and you cannot resume reading it unless you remember in which specific feed it is. If this is expected, then my problem could be solved if liferea maintained a history of items that have been read, and allowed me to navigate back in the history. I cannot understand how upstream can possibly think that this is expected behaviour. I admit I am rather miffed, having made an attempt to provide a real-life usage scenario with a negative outcome, to see just a cold, laconic "this is expected" as a reply. Perhaps I should swallow the idea that me and upstream use liferea in some radically different ways, which makes communication particularly complicated. What can I say... please feel free to close this bug, or tag it wontfix, if this is the case.
