Package: dpkg-dev
Version: 1.10.28
Severity: wishlist

Well, subjects says it all, when making experimental uploads, with debian
version of -0experimental.n or similar, in order to be older than the -1
version which will go to unstable, dpkg-buildpackage does not include the
.orig, and thus often builds are uploaded by mistake without the .orig, which
is a pain. And yes, i know about -sa or whatever it was, but it is so easy to
forget.

I think it would be reasonable to include the .orig with -0experimental.1 or
something such uploads, or at least issue a warning about this if such a
version is detected and -sa not provided.

Friendly,

Sven Luther
