Package: libpoppler28 Version: 0.20.5-1 Severity: normal When viewing some PDF documents, Evince crashes with the following error printed to console:
evince: GfxState.cc:4179: void GfxGouraudTriangleShading::getTriangle(int, double*, double*, GfxColor*, double*, double*, GfxColor*, double*, double*, GfxColor*): Assertion `!isParameterized()' failed. Aborted This is reported in Ubuntu as the bug (the Ubuntu bug report includes some links to documents triggering the bug; the particular document causing the bug on my computer was produced by Adobe PDFMaker 10 from a MS PowerPoint document) https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/1072129 A patch has been included in the Ubuntu package (git_gouraud_shading_support.patch) that should fix the bug: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/poppler/0.20.5-1ubuntu1 The Ubuntu patch is the backporting of the following upstream commit: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/poppler/poppler/commit/?id=ae8fc0cbfc6123189e17b3cf1286e0540f181646 The bug should also be fixed in the upstream version (0.22). I'm using Gnome 3.6 from Experimental. The version of poppler\Evince from testing seem not to be affected by the bug (the same document doesn't trigger any crash). -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (800, 'unstable'), (500, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.4-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libpoppler28 depends on: ii libc6 2.13-37 ii libfontconfig1 2.9.0-7.1 ii libfreetype6 2.4.9-1.1 ii libjpeg8 8d-1 ii liblcms2-2 2.2+git20110628-2.2 ii libopenjpeg2 1.3+dfsg-4.6 ii libpng12-0 1.2.49-1 ii libstdc++6 4.7.2-5 ii libtiff4 3.9.6-10 ii multiarch-support 2.13-37 Versions of packages libpoppler28 recommends: ii poppler-data 0.4.5-10 libpoppler28 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
