Package: logwatch
Version: 5.2.2-5
Severity: normal

Logwatch won't run from cron. Or at least, I am not getting mails from
it. I have tried changing the user who receives the mail from root to my
local user, jon, in /etc/logwatch/conf/logwatch.conf, which hasn't
helped. (`jon' gets root's mail anyway).

Looking at /etc/cron.daily/00logwatch, the test line returns 0 so I
cannot see why the /usr/sbin/logwatch line would not be executed.

If I obtain a root shell and run logwatch in it, it works.

I can't find any relevant messages in my MTA's log file which would
correspond to a failed delivery.

Any advice on how to diagnose this further would be greatly appreciated!
