Uh, sorry for this super late reply, my real life was a bit turbulent recently. I would be in favour of adding a freeze exception for this version as the first fix is useful for desktop environments without a GUI policykit agent - AIUI thats most beside the big kde/gnome/xfce ones. And the last change is useful as it means that you will see packages in the security.debian.org origin even if the package is also available on a "normal" mirror and the sources.list entry of the normal mirror is before the security.d.o server.
