I imported the commit (which applied cleanly), dpkg-buildpackage'd the
sources and installed the resulting libcairo2_1.12.2-2_amd64.deb, and it
indeed fixed the bug (at least I tested the problematic rsvg call, and
it crashed before installing the package and now works like a charm).
