A tidied up version of the diff between the current sid / wheezy packages and the 1.42.7 in experimental comes to 111 files changed, 2577 insertions(+), 1319 deletions(-) That's more than we'd generally be happy to accept at this point, particularly when the symlink bug is purely in the Debian packaging.
