Thanks for your bugreport. This is true: tuxcmd does not recive much
updates (upstream has not yet released newer versions which are
consiered stable also in repsect to the tuxcmd-modules). If you look
at upstream git repo you see from time to time commits. This is the
reason why tuxcmd is still at same version as in Squeeze, so yes you
are right it was compiled even with fpc at that time.

I wonder: Should fpc maybe provide some 'api' package, and packages
build-depending on it add Depends on it (maybe with some Debhelper
helpers, like e.g. libdbi-perl does)? And the packages get rebuilded
every time there is a new major version for fpc?
