Package: vym Version: 2.3.8-1 Severity: normal This report is related to #529528, but since the original report is addressing two issues at once, opening a new one seemed in order.
The problem, as described in the original (archived) report, occurs only when deleting the root node, otherwise the undo functions properly. Expected outcome: * delete root node (accidentally or not) * hit undo to restore it After deleting, undo button has no effect at all. Also, it doesn't grey out after exhausting the number or undo levels available. Tested on a new document, where I did not have more than 10-11 steps to undo, so it seems to be stuck there after the mentioned deletion. The problem becomes even more irritating if one has autosave enabled (as it is by default) and after deleting the root node the document is lost forever. Please let me know if you need anything else. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (800, 'unstable'), (700, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.7.0-1.dmz.1-liquorix-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages vym depends on: ii libc6 2.13-37 ii libgcc1 1:4.7.2-4 ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.8.2+dfsg-9 ii libqt4-network 4:4.8.2+dfsg-9 ii libqt4-svg 4:4.8.2+dfsg-9 ii libqt4-xml 4:4.8.2+dfsg-9 ii libqtcore4 4:4.8.2+dfsg-9 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.2+dfsg-9 ii libstdc++6 4.7.2-4 ii unzip 6.0-8 ii xsltproc 1.1.26-14 ii zip 3.0-6 vym recommends no packages.
