It uses skb->tail as a pointer to the end of the frame to be transmitted, but on 64-bit architectures skb->tail is a (small) offset. This is effectively a null pointer dereference. Fixed by commit 1c7ec2e8e0fb6e8acda4f6b9a682cf7f8e650e2f upstream.
