Package: ncurses-bin Version: 5.9-10 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
infocmp -C does not list some definitions it can translate. For example, 'kend' should be listed as '@7' which is the official termcap entry name according to terminfo(5). Moreover, infocmp(1) says that any omitted definitions will be listed at least as commented out, which is false. This transitively breaks things like Perl's Term::Cap. Yeah, ideally, we would all be using terminfo now... -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.6-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=cs_CZ.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages ncurses-bin depends on: ii libc6 2.13-37 ii libtinfo5 5.9-10 ncurses-bin recommends no packages. ncurses-bin suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
