Package: clamav Version: 0.81-2 Severity: important The current revision 0.81-2 does not work as an av_scanner for exim4 with exiscan anymore. clamav reports ``Client disconnected'' and exim4 gives the client a temporary failure. This issue is described on [1], there's also an ``ugly'' workaround available on the site.
However, this issue is only appearing on one machine, on the other the same setup works fine. exim mainlog: 2005-02-06 14:44:29 1CxmiC-0001tH-O5 malware acl condition: clamd: unable to read from socket (No such file or directory) 2005-02-06 14:44:29 1CxmiC-0001tH-O5 H=<dns> [<ip>] F=<from> temporarily rejected after DATA clamav log: Sun Feb 6 14:44:29 2005 -> Client disconnected [1] http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-ports-bugs/2004-December/047147.html -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.24 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages clamav depends on: ii clamav-freshclam [clamav-da 0.81-2 downloads clamav virus databases f ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.2-1 A high-quality block-sorting file ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libclamav1 0.81-2 virus scanner library ii libcurl3 7.12.3-2 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libgmp3 4.1.2-4 Multiprecision arithmetic library ii libidn11 0.5.2-3 GNU libidn library, implementation ii libssl0.9.7 0.9.7d-3 SSL shared libraries ii zlib1g 1:1.2.1-5 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
