Hi Jonathan, I'm running a 3.7.1 kernel. I first checked that the issue was still present in this kernel: it failed 4 times among 5 tests.
Then I applied the 2 patches that you provided on top of the same kernel (3.7.1), and I can confirm that it worked 5 times among 5. Let me know if you need more info or tests.
