Package: xbmc Version: 2:12.0~git20130102.7a6cb7f-1 Severity: normal Hi,
I wanted to try out xbmc on a headless box. I launch a X server using a custom script [1]. mplayer for instance works fine with this X server. [1] http://sousmonlit.incube.tk/~niol/repositories/deejayd/file/tip/debian/deejayd.init xbmc gives me a black screen (which replaces the root window background and 100% CPU usage. There is no clue in the debug logs of what is happening or what is wrong. This happens with both the version in wheezy and the version in experimental. xbmc works fine on my laptop. Maybe xbmc is searching for a daemon that it cannot find ? A window manager? My Graphics controller is an intel G41 : (II) intel(0): Integrated Graphics Chipset: Intel(R) G41 I tried to launch a window manager, dbus, pulseaudio, console-kit, nothing changes. How can I dig deeper into this?
