Today I tried to investigate problem again and found that when dconf key org.gnome.desktop.sound.event-sounds enabled desktop freezes, and when disabled - not, so possible workaround - not to remove libcaberra-pulseaudio, but disable that key.
My previous message about enabled/disabled sounds was about gnome-control-center "sound effects" options.
