Package: emacs24 Version: 24.2+1-1 Severity: normal Starting recently after some package upgrade I am now seeing this message when starting emacs:
$ /usr/bin/emacs24 -q (emacs24:17390): GLib-WARNING **: In call to g_spawn_sync(), exit status of a child process was requested but SIGCHLD action was set to SIG_IGN and ECHILD was received by waitpid(), so exit status can't be returned. This is a bug in the program calling g_spawn_sync(); either don't request the exit status, or don't set the SIGCHLD action. Obviously that is a rather annoying message to see every time emacs starts up. I imagine that glib added that warning. It would be great if it would be supressed. Thanks for maintaining emacs!
