I'm familiar with Empathy, and use it regularly What stands out here is that there are now multiple places for configuring accounts GOA online accounts is configurable from the system preferences, while the Empathy accounts are only configurable within Empathy (just like any other normal app) There is a lot of material online suggesting that Empathy is more integrated with Gnome shell. There is also a menu with `Available/Busy' at the top right hand corner of the screen. This gives the impression that chat is integrated at a system level and would therefore be configurable at a system level too. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
