Actually it didnt exist, the directory is empty: nveber@pyre[4761:~]$ ls -al /var/mail total 8 drwxrwsr-x 2 root mail 4096 Jul 8 2010 . drwxr-xr-x 13 root root 4096 Nov 4 22:22 .. nveber@pyre[4762:~]$
