The spaces bug has been fixed in more recent upstream versions. The latest version 0.5 removes support for Microsoft Office documents that do have a thumbnail stored in metadata. It thus does not depend on unoconv any more.
I've hesitated to ask for sponsorship for the latest version, partly because the slow experience isn't very motivating, and partly because I hadn't tested GNOME 3 integration in Debian yet. ------------------- ooo-thumnbailer depends on libgsf-bin. The reason it contains a "Replaces: libgsf-bin" line is because it overwrites one of its files: /usr/share/gconf/schemas/gsf-office-thumbnailer.schemas libgsf-bin_1.14.18-1 ships this file, but libgsf-bin_14.25-1 no longer ships this file, so the "Replaces" line should no longer be necessary. (BTW, the latest version is not "from Ubuntu". The Launchpad project for ooo-thumbnailer should be considered the upstream source. Ubuntu inherits its package from Debian.) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
