I start Apper by pressing <alt>-<f2>apper<enter>. If I use Apper to change my apt sources, I use the "Settings" menu item under the wrench button in the right hand top corner and then go to the "Software Origins" tab. If I then press the "Edit Origins" button in the bottom right corner, nothing happens. I would expect a window to pop up asking for my password and then dropping me into a window where I can edit /etc/apt/sources.list & /etc/apt/sources.list.d/* files.
