Package: iputils-ping
Version: 3:20101006-1+b1

ping(8) says

"Duplicate packets should never occur, and seem to be
caused by inappropriate link-level retransmissions.
Duplicates may occur in many situations and are
rarely (if ever) a good sign, although the presence of
low levels of duplicates may not always be cause for
alarm."

"never" is surely not correct. When people read this
(looking for the funny "DUP!" in ping's output), then
their heart stops beating and they don't read the rest.

I would suggest to explicitly mention the DUPs in the
description of ping's "-b" option.

Harri
