This is really too bad the bug has been roting on the Debian side but the bug has been fixed upstream for 4 months.
I'd really like this bug to go to Wheezy, as it is safe, very short, and cleanly applies and works on gnome-3-4. Would it be possible to cherry pick the patch as it is really hurting accessibility?
