As libscim8 is built together with scim, I don't quite understand why
you only have debugging info in scim, but not in libscim8.
Anyway, as I am not really a C++ programmer, I can't make much sense
from your backtrace, and I doubt recompiling libscim8 with debugging
info would help me much. I'll forward your report to upstream, and let
them decide if they need a better stack trace.
However before I forward this bug, I would like to know what scim
modules you have installed. Would you please send the result of "ls -lR
/usr/lib/scim-1.0"? I know I should make it automatically attached by
reportbug, but I need to learn how to do that. :-)
Also please send a few of your environment variables: $XMODIFIERS,
$GTK_IM_MODULE.
