Package: yiff-server
Version: 2.14.2-7
Severity: minor

There are several errors in the yiff manpage:

1) Behaviour:

The location of the config_file should be specified as the
first argument. The default value is /usr/etc/yiffrc.

This is not true for Debian, the default value is /etc/yiff/yiffrc:
-#define DEF_RCFILE_NAME "/usr/etc/yiffrc"
+#define DEF_RCFILE_NAME "/etc/yiff/yiffrc"

2) Options:

--mixer_rc <file> Specifies alternate Y mixer settings file. The
default is located in the user's home directory as .YMixerSettings.

Not true either in the Debian package:
  *
  * This file is stored in the user's home directory.
  */
  -#define DEF_RCMIXERFILE_NAME ".YMixerSettings"
  +#define DEF_RCMIXERFILE_NAME "/var/state/yiff/mixer"

3) Examples section:

It is more common to start the YIFF sound server by invoking the
startup script (make sure it is written properly), type:

        # /usr/sbin/starty

This script is not present in Debian at all. It might need to refer to
  the init.d script instead

4) SEE ALSO section:

 yhost(1) ymixer(1) yplay(1) yrecinfo(1) yshutdown(1) yset(1) yiffconfig(1)
                                                              ^^^^^^^^^^^^
This application is not available in the Debian package.

Similarly, the HOWTO and tutorial provided by the package
(in the sources under debian/docs/) contains these mistakes and needs to
be ammended too.

Javier
