Created an empty raw disk-image for drive "C", booted qemu VM from 
"debian-6.0.6-i386-CD-1.iso",
mostly chose defaults in debian-installer (selected SQL and Web Server tasks, 
ext4 partition
on LVM, gave it a volume label).  After the installer prompts to reboot,  grub 
displays its
menu; selecting the first option,  I get the message:
