I understand the desire to remove gnat-4.4, and I don't disagree. But please understand that building GHDL to with gnat-4.6 is *much* easier said than done. (GHDL is not a normal Ada program, but a completely separate GCC language front-end written primarily in Ada). I've attempted this several times over a few years. I may give it another shot. If I'm still unsuccessful, I'll be forced to orphan GHDL since I can't maintain it and can't be upstream for it.
