samba) doesn't fit the definition of "serious", more particularly
because it comes in a very specific case and there are dozens of
installations of samba that aren't hit by this bug, at all. Not to say
this is a minor bug (again, if this is one) but certainly not
something that should prevent us to release wheezy with the current
samba packages (and we will).

Ok, if you think this is a very specific case (which is likely considering the lack of similar bugs in the BTS) then this is normal,
so I'm downgrading accordingly.

I admit that this report is somewhat incomplete as I have only tried different server configurations, leaving the client untouched. My next step should have been installing a minimal working virtual machine as client and see what missing recommends (if any) makes it to work again when it breaks. I hope to have some time in the next days for that.
