Thank you very much for this; it puts the issue into perspective. I'm very conscious of the work which is put into Debian by many people and was trying not increase the load by promoting a software solution, not that I have anything significant to contribute in that area. I will try to bear your dictum in mind (which does not guarantee I will not forget it) for future contributions.
