Package: sql-ledger Version: 2.4.7-2 Severity: normal
It is remarkably easy to get the exchange rate wrong when entering AR items - either you put in 1/rate rather than rate or you forget it at the beginning or the payment rates wind up at 1000000. Once this is done, you can't edit the exchange rate in the payment line. Trying to add a new payment line with a new exchange rate gets the old exchange rate again. Removing and adding back the payment line gets the old exchange rate. The only reliable method I have found to date is: dump the database edit the error in the SQL reload the database. Being able to edit the Exchange Rate fields in the Edit AP Transaction dialogue would solve all this. cheers, Rich. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.31 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages sql-ledger depends on: ii apache [httpd] 1.3.33-8 versatile, high-performance HTTP s ii libdbd-pg-perl 1.42-2 a PostgreSQL interface for Perl 5 ii perl 5.8.7-3 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction sql-ledger recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
