Package: chrony Version: 1.26-2 Severity: wishlist Dear John,
You may have noticed that the packaging of chrony may benefit from some extra hands working on it, as already proposed in other bugreports (e.g., Ana's request to change the package to uses some patch system, Joachim doing an NMU, among others). I am writing this to ask if you would like to change the maintainance of chrony to a team-based style, as we would like to have some more activity on bugs pending in the package. I have started doing what I feel is the basis for a new packaging, including many items that you can see in: http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=users/rbrito-guest/chrony.git If you accept this proposal, then I am going to move the git repository above to the collab-maint umbrella, so that others can work on it too. Please, let us know what are your plans regarding the future of chrony in Debian.
