You didn't provide a minimal TeX example, here is my one:
\documentclass{beamer}
\begin{document}
\begin{frame}{Outline}
\tableofcontents
\end{frame}
\section{sec-1}
\subsection{sec-1-1}
\begin{frame}
test
\end{frame}
\end{document}
I can't reproduce the problem using the version of rubber currently
in unstable and this example. Can you?
