I made a first attempt to also build the shared library of the package. You can find an updated source package on the mentors site: https://mentors.debian.net/package/unrar-nonfree
The changes needed is an updated debian/rules file and a patch in makefile.unix from upstream. I didn't split the package into two (library/binary), if this is needed please let me know.
