severity 195720 minor tags 195720 + patch thanks,
Hi, The postinst of util-linux section mentioned in this bug is no longer needed (as far as sarge, update-rc.d works fine without a rc0.d/??? and/or a rc6.d/??? file). A patch for this is attached. Also, the current practice to enable/disable initscripts for the admin is to use update-rc.d script enable/disable. Disabling the script in this way is preserved even after the calls in the postinst script. The enable/disable part of update-rc.d might change in the future. -- "Don't let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do." -- Wooden's Rule Saludos /\/\ /\ >< `/
