Please change the working directory to a git repository containing at
least two non-trivial commits. Start gitg. Click on a commit. Click on
the "Changes" tab. You should see a diff. Observe that the line numbers
in the presented diff are wrong.

What kind of file should I attach? I have not yet found a git repository
not exposing the issue. You can find a number of git repositories at
github.com.
