Dear Maintainer,

avr-gcc segfaults when a source is compiled with the -mint8 option. 

This bug is known and discussed by the gcc maintainers, it's fixed in version 
4.7.1, bug report is here: http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=46261
