It can... emacs-snapshot conflicts with dictionaries-common << 0.60, because earlier versions broke Flyspell. One of the packages on your system must depend on an older version of dictionaries-common, could you find out which? I can install all the packages mentioned below without problem in current unstable. Try apt-get update?
