Hello,

I applied all updates that accumulated from 16.10.2012 when the system was
installed to 12.11.2012. dpkg.log is huge for the update (1.6 MB) as I
manually downloaded and reinstalled all packages. If you wish I can attach
it.

$ dpkg -l '*vlc*' | grep ^ii
ii libvlc5
2.0.3-3 i386 multimedia player and
streamer library
ii libvlccore5
2.0.3-3 i386 base library for VLC and
its modules
ii phonon-backend-vlc
0.6.0-1 i386 Phonon VLC backend
ii vlc
2.0.3-3 i386 multimedia player and
streamer
ii vlc-data
2.0.3-3 all Common data for VLC
ii vlc-nox
2.0.3-3 i386 multimedia player and
streamer (without X support)
ii vlc-plugin-notify
2.0.3-3 i386 LibNotify plugin for VLC
ii vlc-plugin-pulse
2.0.3-3 i386 PulseAudio plugin for VLC

The other command returns no output.

Best Regards,
Andrej Mernik
