I still have this problem with 1.7.11-1. I can't upgrade due to mozilla-enigmail.
The JavaScript console works just fine, and if I enter the string you gave there, it shows me the Printer dialog. However, the JavaScript Debugger doesn't open a window at all, so there's no place for me to input anything.
